Useless

This app does not show all railroad lines, just passenger lines. Please refund my $.99.

Nice app for rail travel either on Amtrak or rail transit. Ill be Amtraking around the country shortly so Ill be curious to see how this works in my travels. The freight lines need to be a different colour as they are too similar in colour to the highway system. Hard to distinguish freight lines from highways when zoomed in on urban areas. Would be nice to link to Amtrak and city transit for schedules and times. Great app. Fix the freight lines colour issue and five stars.

Not really great for a railfanning tool. Needs a lot more work to identify freight lines. A search tool by general location instead of station would be helpful.

I like this app. It shows the major Amtrak routes on a map. In a future release they could integrate timetables or provide an API to Amtraks site. It also could use improvement identifying freight railroads.

Great for seeing all the different Amtrak routes. Couple of suggestions: -PLEASE add the train schedules!!!!! That would make this a 5-star app. -Add real-time train status from amtrak.

This app tells you nothing - theres not that many routes unless your in the city. Use the Amtrak web site!

A great idea to put most rail transport map/station info. in one app. I am sure there is room for improvements. There is no timetable for the routes, but a great overview for the traveler.

Ive been wanting such an app for awhile. Now its easier for a train novice such as myself to locate where the rails and stations are. Note to developer: The VTA lines in Santa Clara County have expanded in the last seven years. There are now lines to Winchester station (terminus) in Campbell and to the Alum Rock station (terminus) in San Jose. One little bug I noticed is when turning "Freight" on in the display options it wont remember the setting when reopening the app after a complete shutdown (removed from hidden suspended task bar). I have a suggestion to really make this app a train buffs must have. Have an overlay display option that shows which AAR frequency (channel 2 thru 97) is used in the area.

There is a problem when I open the app, because when I open it it will immediatly crash

It seems that two of the largest commuter railroads in the country are missing! Wheres New Yorks Metro North and Long Island Railroad? Why are freight lines attributed to Amtrak only just because Amtrak runs a over them? Labeling track ownership, trackage rights, tonnage volume, yards, major interchange points, abandoned historic routes are some of the data that would to make this app interesting. (to Developer- there are very detained rail maps of NY, NJ, CT, MA, PA, Metro North, and LIRR available in pdf from state and MTA web sites. Maybe look at these for ideas on what could be included in future updates.)

I loved this app until it stopped working. After last upgrade, it crashes immediately. Tried unloading and reloading. No luck. Dont buy until this is fixed. Then I will give it five stars again.

Just downloaded this. So far I like the App. Please add the New Mexico RailRunner Express to your map.

A great start and easy to use if you use Google Maps at all. Id love to see additional lines (e.g. CSX, etc) as well as Rails to Trails and things like that.

It crashes everytime you use it. Once the problem is fixed, Ill put a better review

This is a great app for going mobile. Easier than carrying books.

Would have gave it more stars if they would have put the tentative time for departure with the station information. What good is it to know where the station is, if you dont know when the train will depart.

I hate being cheated. I paid for this product but it never would load. It crashed everytime I tried to load it. I reported it twice on their website but no response. Dont waste your money.

Real time location of trains would make this 5 stars... When chasing storms, knowing where these are would help.

Totally a rip off! Trash! Never worked!
